The Journey of Authorship

Wanjiru Gachau is an Author and business person with more than a decades experience in both.

The journey of authorship began in high school where she wrote cute, little poems at the back of class work books and spent hundreds of night time preps literally studying the oxford dictionary. She was intrigued by how some words sounded different from their written form.

And the rest is history

She has since authored the book ‘Where Is My Salt’

Over the last decade she has written hundreds of articles published on various platforms. Platforms such as Daily Nation, Word Press, Medium, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

She has worked with BBC London as a translator. Translation from the Kenya’s National language Kiswahili to English.

The book ‘Where Is My Salt’ speaks to the young Kenyan woman from a middle class background.
